The Protector and The Protector Deluxe
MarineGuard's marine boat alarm systems offer fast, effective intruder
detection.
Our MarineGuard boat alarm systems are built with two objectives in mind.
First, we want the security system to be so simple to operate that any
family member can easily turn the system on and off. Second, we want
our MarineGuard boat alarms to provide exceptional intruder detection that
can be depended on for years.
Our marine boat alarm systems couldn't be easier to use. A
weather-resistant key FOB is included with each system. As the boat
owner exits the boat, he simply pushes a button on the key FOB to activate
the system. He then deactivates the system in a similar way by
pressing a button as he approaches his boat, just as he would turn off his
car alarm. As an added bonus with The Protector Plus boat alarm, the
boat's lights will turn on when the alarm system is deactivated.
The advantages -- There are no key pads to manage and no passwords to
remember. When the alarm systems are activated, there is minimal delay
between the time an intruder steps aboard and the alarm is triggered.
With The Protector, there is only a 15-second delay and with The Protector
Plus, there is no delay.
MarineGuard's boat alarm systems are designed for outdoor mainre
applications. They are not retrofitted residential security systems or
car alarms. The control panel and components are all sealed or coated
to protect them from the sun, weather and water spray and wired components,
such as our Deck Sensors, utilize marine-grade wire. Not only do
these steps protect MarineGuard alarm systems from early corrosion and
environmental damage, it also minimizes the impact of rough seas and the
natural rocking of the boat.
